John Bork

John Bork, Senior Vice President of Vet Health Services, joined PetSmart in Oct. of 2021. John brings extensive experience growing veterinary services businesses, and he most recently served as founder and CEO of WellHaven Pet Health, a Vancouver-based veterinary health practice created to help veterinarians and their teams succeed both personally and professionally. Prior to founding and leading WellHaven, John spent 17 years at Banfield Pet Hospital where he held various leadership positions, including Vice President of Hospital Operations and Divisional Vice President.

John has served on several boards, including the State of Washington’s Wildlife Diversity Advisory Council (WDAC), Vancouver Chamber of Commerce, VVCA (Veterinary Virtual Care Association) and Pacific Northwest Sixers, where he was the founder and president of a nonprofit youth basketball program.

John graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Business Management from the University of Minnesota. He recently relocated to Scottsdale, Ariz. after living in Washington state for more than 15 years. John has two children and is a pet parent to Nors, a 13-year-old rescue.
